The prices above are for "regular" sized medallions that do not exceed 5 inches in any direction. Larger and/or more complex medallions will cost more.
I am not accepting portraits or exact replicas of colors/patterns. I do my best to get as close as possible to a color or pattern based on the reference photos provided but I make no guarantees.

I am not accepting complex pinto or appaloosa patterns, roans, or heavily dappled colors at this time.

Artist's choice (AC) commissions will receive a small discount on the price of the paint work. I do allow AC commissioners to state if there is a specific color/pattern they really don't want on their piece and determine if they want it solid or patterned. Otherwise, I consider everything fair game when compiling reference photos. Extensive "do's" and "don'ts" for the project will be considered a regular commission and be quoted the full paint work cost.
Fantasy models in any scale with wings or a lot of sculptural additions (horn, hair on the body, etc.) will be quoted on an individual basis.

This is a general price guide. Prices will vary depending on the complexity of the color/pattern. A precise quote will be given if/when the project is accepted.

All Eberl models, second quality castings, pewter micro minis, and Breyers must come fully prepped. I recommend customized models be fully prepped and primed by the customizer to make sure their vision for the sculpture is realized, but I will prep customized models if they are first quality castings. If the custom work is messy or requires a lot of additional prep work, an additional fee will be applied. The price quoted includes regular prep work on first quality castings. If a model arrives and requires additional prep work an additional $50+ fee will be applied to the total.

Nitty Gritty:
-
I prefer to send PayPal invoices for deposits, payments, and time payment plans as this helps keep track of payments. Otherwise, all payments must be made via PayPal Goods and Services.
-
Please make sure your correct shipping address is in PayPal.
-
A small deposit is required when the model arrives, usually $50-$100. This NON-REFUNDABLE deposit counts towards the cost of the paint work. The remaining balance, including any shipping costs, can be paid off while the piece is in progress via time payments or within 14 days of the piece being completed and approved. I'm happy to work out a payment plan if something comes up, but commissioners MUST keep in contact. If there is no contact for one month after the commission is complete I will consider the project abandoned and the model/medallion will become my property. All payments made on abandoned projects are non-refundable.
-
All payments made on commissions are non-refundable.
-
An equal monthly payment (or otherwise agreed upon amounts), in the event of time payments, must be made at least every 30 days. No payment, or incorrect payments, for 2 consecutive months will result in a full cancellation of the sale/commission. In this event the model will be forfeit and all payments are non-refundable.
-
Small bits like eye color, socks, and other TINY details can be changed once the piece has been started (as long as those parts haven't been started/completed) but major changes cannot be made. Make sure you're happy with your color/pattern/detail selections beforehand.
-
I will ship completed commissions back within 14 days of being completed and/or being paid-in-full. The sealer needs time to fully cure. All customs/duty/import fees are the responsibility of the commissioner. I will declare the full value of the model (not just the paint work) on the customs fees.

Completion time: While I strive to keep the completion time under 6 months or so, please note it could take up to 1-2 years to complete the piece depending on the complexity of the color/pattern and my work schedule. I have great communication and am happy to provide references.

Additional note: I often work on commissions in addition to sales pieces and personal pieces. It is not uncommon for me to start and finish a sales piece while working on other commissions. I am not a very fast prepper or painter and do like to put commissions down for bits here and there. If you're in a rush for your piece to be completed or don't like to see other pieces finished first, it may be best not to commission me and instead wait for sales pieces to be offered.
